Chapter 223: Ex-husband

“Babe!” Daisy quickly entered the room, walking past Hendrix and strode towards her. “I just heard what happened! I was calling you but you never answered,” she frowned then hugged her.

Margaux snapped. She blinked several times before she turned her gaze to her cousin.

“What are you doing here?” she queried.

Her eyes could not stop glancing at Hendrix’s direction. She pursed her lips as she realized that she failed to see Daisy and that her eyes instantly landed on him as though he was the only one she could see.

“Why won’t I come? Josh is my friend too!” Daisy retorted.

She wanted to ask ‘What about Hendrix? And why was he with her?’ However, she decided against it as she did not want to give him any attention anymore.

She did not want anything to do with him anymore and should just treat him as a ghost that she could feel but could not see.

“Daisy, thank you for coming. Is that your fiancè?” Mrs Garcia walked to them and intervened.
