Chapter 221: Accident

She drove as fast as she could until she reached the hospital after getting that call.

She really had no intention to talk with them again after what happened in the manor the last time they gathered there, but her curiosity got the best out of her.

But eventually, she was glad that she answered that call from Josh’s father because she wouldn’t be able to forgive herself if she didn’t. Although the last time she met Josh's family did not end well, she was not cruel to use it against them to just ignore Josh when he needed her the most.

Josh got into an accident. What’s worse, he’s got triggered again which worsened his condition. She did not ask for the details but those were enough to make her drive right away to the hospital.
