Chapter 218: Corrupt

Hendrix gave her his blazer before he offered to bring her home after leaving her in the dark with that vague speech.

She tried to ask him for clarification, however, the jerk just grinned at her and kissed her until she forgot about it.

Thinking about it, she shut her eyes and let out an exasperated sigh.

‘Why am I so easy?!’ she berated herself.

She couldn't believe she easily gave in to him. And there's no one she could blame but herself when consequences of her action come knocking.

Looking through the window of the car, her lips pursed as she realized they were already in the driveway going to the manor.

“How’s your feeling?” Hendrix suddenly queried as he decreased the speed of the car.

She glanced at him, but it was just brief and she quickly returned her gaze back outside the window. “Fine,” she answered curtly.
