CHAPTER THREE

Jack's POV

I think I fell asleep crying because when I look outside it is already night time. I sit on my bed and rub my sleepy eyes. I get off the bed and run to the bathroom to take a pee after that I leave my room and walk down the stairs. 

"Mommy! Daddy!" I called my mommy and daddy because I'm so hungry!

"Yes, baby?" my mom responds walking out of the kitchen and walk to me. 

"Mommy, I'm hungry~" I pouted and whine as I hug my mommy's neck.

"My cute little baby. Mommy is preparing dinner, okay? " my mommy said while chuckling. "We also have a visitor." She added. I looked at her confused. 

"Who is the visitor?" I asked and my mommy smile and said. 

"Alpha Joseph" I felt excited! I beam at my mommy. I kinda missed him even though I got upset with him earlier. 

My mommy placed me down on the floor because she needs to cook already. I walk to the living room and plop myself on the sofa and watch some cartoons, when I heard daddy's phone ringing. I didn't call for daddy and answer the phone. 

"Hello?" I answered and I heard someone say bad words. I pouted. I don't want bad words. 

"Uhm.. Mister? I don't want bad words" I whine as I said that. 

"I-I'm sorry, baby. This is Joseph" I blinked twice as the caller said his name. Alpha Joseph!!! My cheeks feels warm. 

"H-Hi! Do you want me to call daddy?" I squealed as I ask him. 

"No! It's okay. I want to talk to you instead. How are you? Are you angry with me?" He asked a bit rush and ask questions. I feel shy. I felt hurt earlier because he doesn't want to be with me, but I understand it now. 

"I'm okay, just hungry and I'm not angry at you. I understand why you don't want me to live with you yet." I told him the truth because I don't want to lie. I hate liars. 

"Thank you for understanding, baby." I heard him sigh. Maybe he is relieved. 

"I'm sorry if I-" He said 

"Can you get here a little faster?" but I cut him off. I want hugs. 

"Of course! Wait for me baby, okay? Bye now! See you!" He said and I just replied okay and then the call ended. I gasped scared when I saw my daddy looking at me from the kitchen door. 

"Daddy!! You scared me!" I shouted and looked at him with teary eyes. He rushed towards me and hug me tight. 

"I'm sorry my baby. Daddy didn't mean to scare you." Daddy cooed and I snuggle close to him. 

"Is that Alpha Joseph you are talking to?" Daddy asked and I nod my head in response. 

"Daddy, I told him to go here a little faster." I looked at him and pout. "Is that rude? But I missed him and want hugs." I told daddy while smiling a bit. My daddy looked kinda shock and just look at me. 

"Is daddy's hug not enough? Do you really need his hug?" He asked. My daddy is jealous! Hihi

"Daddy, are you jealous?" I asked him with a teasing voice. And he frown playfully then smile and hug me. 

"You are still so young to have a mate. You are just 6 for heavens sake!" He kinda shouted so I flinch. Daddy is mad. 

He stopped and look at me with sad eyes and hug me again so tight. 

"Daddy, am I different?" I asked him. 

"Why, baby?" He answered. 

"You always say I don't talk, think and act like my age then now I have a mate. I am different, am I?" I explained and looked down. I always feel different. At school, I find my classmates kinda baby or doing silly things. Unlike me, I love reading different books, searching on the internet, puzzle games and many more. 

"Hey, you are not different. Just a little advance not like the other kids." Daddy explained and cooed me. 

"But you are mad because I am different." I sighed and pout looking at him. 

"I am not mad that you are different. What is the fun in that if you are same with others, right? Daddy is just a little upset that you have a mate already, but daddy and mommy love you so much." He smiled and kiss my forehead. That's when I smelled a wonderful smell! Strawberries! Love 'em! 

I run towards the door and open it. I saw the big guy that I'm missing! I just stand there and look at him. 

"Hi, baby." He greeted and smile at me. I blush and felt shy so I play with my fingers. 

"Hi! Come in." I said shyly. 

He enters the house and scoop me up, his face on my neck. I feel his body relaxed. I hug his neck with my little arms. 

"How are you?" I asked him. 

"I'm doing great! Kinda tired tho" He answered while gently putting me down. 

"Oh. Why? You work?" I asked looking up at him while smiling. 

"Yeah, I have a lot of alpha works." He chuckle and ruffles my hair. 

"Joseph" I look behind me and saw my father looking at my mate. 

"Daddy, no fighting please?" I said while pouting and puppy eyes, it always work. Hihi

Daddy sigh and smile. Yeepee! It worked!

"Go and help your mommy. Let me talk to your mate first, okay?" He said and pat my head. 

"Okay daddy!" I said and look at my mate and smile before going to the kitchen and help my mommy. 

I love the kitchen! Smells so good and I really love cooking as well as baking! Yuuuum!!!
