CHAPTER FIVE

Jack's POV

Today is the day that nini will leave me. Well.. for works and alpha stuffs. We are inseparable this past few days and I think... I'm gonna miss him so much. I sigh heavily. Do I sound like an old boy? Pouts. I'm a baby tho? 

I'm here at my room lying on my bed while waiting, he said he's gonna be here to say goodbye before he leaves. I don't want him to leave. 

"Jack!! Joseph is here! Time to say goodbye" I heard my daddy shout and I run down the stairs and run to him hugging gis legs. 

"Do you really have to leave?" I ask while my face is buried on his legs and my tears starts to fall.

"H-hey, baby." He carries me and I bury my face on his shoulder sobbing.

"Can't you take me with you? I'll be a good boy, I promise!" I wail and wrap my small arms around his neck and hug him tight and bury my face more on his neck.

He wrap his big arms around me and bury his face on my neck as well and sniffs. Is he crying too? Why can't he just bring me? 🥺

" Baby, I can't. Your mommy and daddy will get upset. You need to go to school as well. I know you want that so bad" He said with a soft voice.

"We talked about this last night, Jack." I heard my mommy said and I just sob.

"Baby, I'll be back. It'll take time but I will come back. You enjoy your school and have fun with your friends. You tell your daddy to send me pictures of you" He said and I can feel him smiling on my neck.

I look at him not removing my arms around him. He wipe my tears on my cheeks with his thumb and kiss my forehead.

"I-I'll be big boy when you come back? Daddy will not get mad anymore?" I ask and he just chuckles and pinches my pinkish cheeks becausw of crying.

"You will be! You can also come with me whenever I go!" He said happily and that make me smile. I want to get older now. Pout.

"Baby, I need to go" He softly said while caressing my cheeks. 

"Oh o-okay." I said and sniffles. He pass me to my mommy and kiss my head before he talk to my daddy. He walk to his car and climb on the driver seat, he open the passenger seat window to see me. I wave my hands and send him flying kisses.

He smile and drive off.

FIVE YEARS AFTER

It's been five years and Nini is still not coming back. I'm 11 years old now! I'm getting older but my height 🥺 makes me sad! I want to be taller! 

These past years, I've been pestering dad to send Nini my pictures. He barely reply though, that makes me upset. I don't know why. I know he is busy but a simple reply will do. 

I'm in 6th grade now supposedly 5th but I accelerated because I'm too advance. I'm really doing well with my academics, I have a sport too! Volleyball! I just love playing it!

Sometimes there are some brutes who teases me because my body is too slim and feminine for a boy like me. I love my body though! I can wear whatever I want HAHAHAHA!

"Jack!!!! Your friend Andrew is here! He said you have practice today!" Mom shouts and I get my sports bag and run hurriedly down the stairs.

I'm wearing my volleyball jersey with shorts. My shorts is really short, i need to wear cycling.

"Hey! You're early! I said 11, its only 10?" I huff and roll my eyes on him. I walk to the kitchen and sat on a chair to start eating breakfast.

"I just want to be early? What's wrong with that?" He said as he sat on the chair across mine. The brute is feel at home. I just ignore him and eat. 

"Mom, where's dad?" I asks.

"He's at the pack house. He has a lot of work. Alpha Joseph called early in the morning to ask for your dad's help." Mom answered and gasps as I heard nini's name. Mom and Andrew look at me.

"Why didn't dad wake me up? Nin-" I stopped and look at Andrew. "I mean he called and didn't talk to me?" I said with a noticeable sadness.

"Huh? Why would the alpha talk to you? Does he have business with you?" He bombarded me with questions having his funny confused face.

"U-uh.. Nothing! Just want to talk!" I said dismissively. I sigh and just carry my plate to the sink. I lost my appetite already.

Is he so busy? Why can't he make just a little time? I just want to talk to him. I miss him so much. Does he miss me too? Or is he just making excuses?

Me and Andrew arrive at school and go straight to the gym. My mood became gloomy and I think Andrew noticed that.

"Hey, you're so quiet today. Is there something wrong?" He ask while we are putting our bags away.

"Don't mind me. I don't feel really well today" I said and pick up the ball and walk towards the court.

"Debs and Zander are gonna be late. My bitch of a twin drag Zander to buy something from the mall." He said and I just nod while bouncing the ball.

My head is full of questions as to why Nini doesn't call or text to communicate with me. I'm thinking he forgot about me.

" Hey, do you know what my older sister said last night?" Andrew said.

" What? Another gossip? Fake infos?" I said rolling my eyes. His older sister always have fake infos.

"Yah! Why so hard on my sister!" He laughs. "Well, he saw Alpha Joseph in one of the party in the other pack" He continued that makes me snap my head towards him. 

"WHAT?!" I said too loudly and aggressively.

"Hey, calm down!" He laughs.

Why would I calm down?! He is partying?! That is why he is busy!?! I'm getting mad by the passing second!

"What else?!" I ask while glaring.

"Stop glaring! What's wrong with you!" He chuckled. 

"She said Alpha has a date that night. A beautiful woman. My sister said she looks the same age as Alpha Joseph." He continues and I'm getting really upset and pissed. I spike the ball towards the other side of the court.

"Wtf?! Why are you angry?" He ask genuinely confused.

"I'm not feeling well, I'll just go home now. Tell Debs and Zander, I'm sorry." I pick up my things and walk out of the gym.

I'm getting really pissed. Why though?! Why am I like this?! I know that we are so close when I was a child but not this extent! Why am I getting mad??

While walking towards the school gate I bump into something and causes me to land on the floor. Argh!!!!

I help myself up to stand back on the floor but he pushes me again. 

"What the hell is your problem?!" I looked up and saw Bruce looking down at me. This brute is so annoying! 

"Are you hurt, girly?" He asks me with that nickname he gave me because of my appearance. 

"I'm not. Can you please just move away? I don't need your crap right now!" I said annoyed and just stand up planning to walk away but this brute just won't let me pass. 

"Not so fast girly." He smirk and grab my arm tightly. Shit! It will bruise! 

"Let go, bruce!" I said sternly. I really hope he'll get the meaning but his little brain didn't! I don't have a choice but to kneed his crotch. 

He let me go and kneels on the ground holding his crotch. 

"I asked nicely and you didn't listen!" I growl and walk pass him and walk straight home. 

He is always like that! Like wtf?! 

I always ignore him all the damn time but he is so persistent!

When I reached home, I open the door and accidentally close it with too much force. It makes a loud sound that made my mom running from the kitchen. 

"Hey! What's your problem?" She shouted at me pissed. 

"I'm sorry, mom." I said trying to hide my angry and pissed face. 

"What's with the face? What happened at school?" Mom ask, I can never hide something from her. I sigh heavily. 

"Heard some news about Alpha patying and such" I said with frown on my face. 

"Son, he needs to socialize because he is an Alpha" Mom explains but I'm still mad. I sighed and just look at her. 

"I'm gonna head up—" I got cutoff when her phone rings. She answer the call. 

"Yes, Alpha?" My mom answer that makes me stiffened. He is calling! HE IS CALLIIIING!!! Damn! I'm mad, am I? 

My mom looks at me and give me the phone and mouthed "He wants to talk to you" 

Okay! Jack you are mad at him! He party while not replying to your messages and pictures! Now he wants to talk to you. YOU. ARE. MAD. AT. HIM. 

Am I? 🥺

I reach out for the phone and put it on my hear. 

"Hello, Alpha"
