Lyra's POV

The crowd gasps and the sound overwhelmed my entire being.

I looked around. Everyone's faces were turned towards the direction where Luna and Tristan stood.

I didn't know how to feel or even how to act, it was as if my chest was constricted and I looked around again, but this time for another reason.

Philip was not here.

I turned to Asher who was standing behind me, "where is Philip?"

He looked at me before shaking his head, "I don't know where he is," he said.

I didn't know what to do but I was sure standing there and listening to the person I had believed was actually wrong.

And not just that, she had also been rejected by someone.

But focusing on that was detrimental to my health and so I just focused on trying to find Philip because it was the only calming thing I could think to do.
