Devlin's POV

I didn't want to break down any further than I already was. I didn't want to cry anymore. And it seems like Tristan himself had had enough.

He let go of Catherina, and at the same time, his men took Lyra away despite her screaming and fighting.

Tristan knew better, as he took his steps away, he had the gun facing Catherina knowing that, the second he looked away from her, she was gonna attack him.

Tristan was gone the same way he came. It was after a while that the men who had held Asher back actually let go of him. But Lyra was gone and so was Tristan and no matter what he did, he couldn't catch up to them.

I looked around at the people. Some were looking back at me and some were staring at Catherina.
