Devlin's POV

I woke up and was met with a ceiling that was different from what I was used to.

It was white and ordinary. And not just that. The walls were painted white which was unlike the walls of my former bedroom.

That's right.

I left the mansion.

Catherina had demanded that I leave, she wanted nothing to do with me and even called me selfish. So after Kaden's attempt to convince me that the people were on my side, I packed my bags immediately and left the house.

I could have gone back to the blood river pack seeing that I was married to their alpha, but I knew more than that, Asher would not give me face and moreover, he was spending all his time looking for Lyra.

Him and Catherina seemed to be partners in this issue, they were both against me. Asher had completely abandoned me and Catherina did not hold back from telling me that she wanted nothing to do with me.
