Chapter Ten: Wolf Class

“You have been wanting to run away since dad died” I accuse my mother with a frown.

I have to wonder if she is leaving because I brought Neerah.

“I will only take a couple of months. I will come back. It is not like I would be gone forever!” She points out.

It was after the dining room incident. I had just gone to dinner when I realized that mom had gone to see Neerah. I was anxious because I dont want Neerah to feel like we are forcing her to start interacting with people so soon. I would rather it happened on her own terms.

Mom was adamant that Miley must have put the card because she wanted Neerah to see Rayah's picture in the dining room.

“You Should just take the picture down son. Rayah is dead. And you have other pictures of Rayah. That one is just too big. Neerah would constantly feel attacked” she had reasoned.

But I was mad at Miley for giving her the card and I have already asked her to leave early.
