Trinity's POV

I was worried about Maci. The pack hospital had called me saying that Maci's medication fee was running out. I had to go back to the pack house to ask Marisa for the money she had promised.

On the way back home, I was in a good mood and hummed a song as I walked.

Antoine seemed to be a good man, although I was still a little afraid of him. Sometimes, he was cold and aloof. I couldn't tell what he was thinking.

But after all, he said that he wouldn't force me and gave me the freedom to do what I wanted.

That was enough for me. He didn't have a decent job. But so what, as long as he had a good heart.

Thinking of that, I recalled when he said I was flat like a board last night. Sure enough, he preferred a woman who had a hot body like Briana.

"You're not that good either, " I scolded in a low voice. His attitude was too arrogant.

As I was thinking, I arrived at my pack house.
