Chapter 10

Antoine's POV

"Wait. Wait a minute," Trinity panted and stopped me when we walked out of the Webb pack's house.

I stopped and lowered my head to look at her.

Her forehead was sweating. "You walked too fast."

I looked at Corey, who stood a few steps behind us, holding those boxes of gifts. He looked fine.

"I don't have your long legs," Trinity complained.

It was my fault for not noticing it.

Then, I saw Corey was still staring at us in shock. When he met my gaze in the air, he slowly turned his head away.

Realizing I was still holding her hand, I immediately dropped her hand.

Trinity seemed not to care. It took her some time to smooth her breathing.

Then, she straightened up her body and pointed at the boxes which Corey was holding. "What about those gifts?"

I frowned. I thought I had said clearly in the house just now.

"Where did you get those? They must be expensive. How could you afford to buy those gifts?" Trinity kept on throwing questions at me.
