Every moment stretched like an eternity. The palace felt like a tomb, silent and still, as if holding its breath along with me.

Days passed, and still, the Alpha remained in his deep sleep, unmoving. The pack sensed the unease, whispers of the Alpha’s condition spreading like wildfire, filling the air with a sense of impending doom.

My heart ached with every passing hour, the emptiness of his absence growing like a chasm in my soul.

I spent my days at his side, watching over him, praying silently for a miracle. While Aldo handles the affairs of the pack.
