CHAPTER FIVE

                                                                         SARA

Eden dragged me into his room angrily. I cursed myself internally “why do i always get into trouble with him?”

“I told you not to leave my side,you could have been hurt or kidnapped,your worthless life means nothing to me,but I need you for those elders to get off my back.

“You are sleeping in my room tonight.we need to start acting like we are in love” he said with a frown.

 I felt a tightness around my chest.He walked closer to me and caressed my face.We locked eyes, it was like the whole world stopped for a moment.

“Mate” Eden whispered as he lifted my chin. I looked at him in surprise.

“I don't know what i would do with you” he murmured '' i thought i heard wrongly.

I became confused, he is acting strange. He crashed his lips on mine. His kiss was so tender, making me crave for more.

I moaned into his mouth as he kissed me hard. He lifted me,and laid me on the bed.He pressed himself into me. I gasped as I felt his bulge.

Eden looked at me like he wanted to say something. Suddenly there was a knock at the door.

“My alpha” Aldo’s voice came from the other side of the door, he sounded worried.

Eden quickly got up and glanced at me for a moment before walking to the door. He opened the door, Aldo hurriedly walked in.

“A rogue has entered our land, we do not know how he passed our securities” he said.

He looked at me “Stay here, don’t leave this room.” he warned.

He turned to Aldo “Tighten all security posts, a rogue dares to enter my land!” he growled as he walked out.

I laid in Eden’s bed processing what happened, I touched my lips and smiled. He is very confusing,one minute he acts cruel to me,the next minute he’s kissing me. 

Suddenly,my smile dropped.what if he is pretending? What if he was just trying to sleep with me? Why the sudden change?

Does Eden like me all these while, he has been cruel to me? I began to panic.

A knock at the door interrupted my thoughts.That would be Eden, I said internally.

I got up to open the door, I was pushed with a force, I fell and hit my head on the floor.

W-who are you? I stuttered as I saw a man hovering over me with a scary smile.

I screamed as he picked me up forcefully and threw me on the bed. He tore my dress with his claws in seconds.Fear gripped me, he was going to rape me, tears slid down from my eyes.

“Shut up bitch” he hissed. I knew I needed to scream for help.

The man laughed loudly when he saw my tears. “ Stupid weak human” he laughed again.He reached for my undergarment, I screamed as loud as i could.

“EDENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN.” The man slapped me hard on the face.

“I said shut up, he wouldn’t be able to save you” he smirked. 

Fear gripped me as I wondered why bad things always happened to me. I cried as he pinned my hands over my head.He sniffed my neck and I turned my face in disgust.

I heard a loud growl as the door fell off. Eden was in his wolf form. His wolf was a beautiful white wolf, with streaks of silver running through it. He was huge with piercing yellow eyes, filled with intelligence and authority.He walked towards the rogue with an aura of power and leadership.

He picked up the rogue and threw him across the room. I tried to get up but I was too weak and my head throbbed.

The rogue shouted in pain. Eden picked him and threw him on the table,causing the table to shatter to pieces. He laid there lifeless. His blood was all over the room.

“Sara.” I heard Eden yelled as I gave in to darkness.

                                    

                                            ALPHA KING EDEN

I have been seeing Sara in my dreams after our encounter in the library. I knew the goddess was playing a trick on me. How can a human be my mate? Not just a human but a weak one.

When I saw her coming down from the stairs in that dress, my eyes were lost on her body. She looked beautiful.

I shook off the feeling and reminded her not to ever keep me waiting again. She was very nervous.

As we walked to the ballroom, I told myself, I can't afford to be soft when it comes to her. The goddess is playing games on me.

Aldo introduced us as we walked into the ballroom, we then proceeded to the center of the room to dance. She danced very well, I guess she’s a good and quick learner.

I complimented her dress just to see her reaction. I smirked when she blushed,and her reaction when I told her the dress doesn't look lovely on her, was satisfying until she gave me an evil smile. 

I noticed she wasn't comfortable with the crowd because she was tense.We danced slowly to the music, we exchanged eye contacts. I dragged her closer to me while my eyes traveled to her lips. She licked her lips which stirred something inside me. 

The music stopped, she squeezed my shoulder hard, I groaned silently not wanting the guests to notice. Before I could scold her she walked away swaying her hips.My cock twitched.

I followed her and told myself I was going to teach her a lesson, but I was stopped by a guest.While talking to the guest I noticed her at the corner of the room looking at most of the people chatting and drinking. I averted my eyes and focused on what the guest was saying which I wasn't interested in.

I finished talking to the guest and turned around but she wasn’t there anymore. I signaled Aldo and asked him to find her. I knew I had a lot of enemies, from the moment I introduced her as my fiance,she would be a target for my enemies to get me. I can't be soft when it comes to her.

I got up and walked out towards the garden,suddenly someone bumped into me, i looked down wanting to see who dares run into me. I was met with the golden eyes that has been on my dreams lately.

“Why are you outside?What did I tell you about not leaving my side?” I asked her angrily.

I noticed she was panicking. I looked up and saw my best friend Aaron approaching. Aaron is my childhood friend. He’s the Alpha of Shadow pack.

I saw something in his eyes when he looked at Sara.I have known Aaron for a longtime and with that look, I knew he wanted her.

I became jealous and possessive and asked him to backoff. I used my Alpha’s voice on him for the first time.

We looked at each other, in a challenging way. For a moment I thought he was going to start a  fight, until he surrendered and laughed.

We laughed and exchanged pleasantries, he walked into the party after giving Sara the same captivating look.

I had a feeling Aaron would not give up on Sara, I suddenly had the urge to claim her as mine.

I dragged her into my room. I was having mixed feelings, I wanted to punish and claim her at the same time. I saw how tense she was because she was inside my room.

“ We need to start acting like we are in love, you would be sleeping in my room” I told her calmly.

I slowly walked towards her, it was like a force was pulling me to her. I lifted her chin and looked into her eyes.

“Mate "I whispered and crushed my lips on hers. I couldn’t control myself.

Her lips were soft and tender,I kissed her hard when she moaned  into my mouth. I lifted her and slowly laid her on my bed,I pressed my bulge into her and she gasped.

I looked into her eyes and lost myself. I was about to ask her what she’s doing to me when a hard knock came at my door.

I groaned, “ This better be worth it”

I heard Aldo's voice from the other side of the door, he sounded worried. I quickly got up and adjusted my clothes.

Aldo told me there’s a rogue on my land, I hated rogues. They pose as threats, I don't hesitate to kill any rogue that enters my land. Everyone knows the moonstone pack is not to be crossed, I have a reputation of not sparing anyone that poses a threat to my pack.

As I passed the palace walls heading to the security post that had been breached, suddenly I came to a stop when my wolf told me our mate is in trouble.

“What is it? Alpha.” Aldo asked, worriedly.

Suddenly, I heard a loud cry of Sara,calling out my name.  I changed into my wolf form as I ran back to my room.

With a loud growl I pulled off the room door. I was out for blood when I saw the rogue on top Sara, he saw me and shivered in fear.

I walked towards him, showing my authority as the Alpha king, I picked him up and threw him across the room, his scream was like music to my ears.

He was screaming in pain while he begged for forgiveness. I wanted to keep him alive and interrogate him but when I looked at Sara sobbing, all I wanted was to rip the rogue apart.

I picked him up and threw him on the hard table. I heard his bones crack, he stopped moving  and his blood was all over the room.

Sara fainted immediately, I changed back to my human form and called out to her.

I quickly carried Sara out of my room and called out to Aldo to get Ethel to come over.

It had been four days since Sara was attacked by a rogue. Ethel told me she would be awake soon,that her body needs all the recovery from the beating and trauma she encountered. 

I haven’t seen her and i don’t intend to, the silly game my heart and the moon goddess is playing on me has to stop.

I was sitting on my balcony with Aaron, he had not gone back to his pack ever since the attack.Something tells me he cares for Sara and also wants to be present when she wakes up.

“Why haven't you gone to see her?” Aaron asked.

“Why should I see her? It’s not like she means anything to me.” I scoffed,pouring a drink from the wine jar.

“Can you listen to yourself? You introduced her to everyone as your future Luna.” he said angrily.

“ So what? That was only an act, she’s nothing but a slave girl sold to me by her father.I only want to use her for my sexual desires.” I replied angrily.

Suddenly,I heard a gasp from behind. Aaron and I turned,  Sara was standing there with tears in her eyes.

She looked at me with no emotions in her eyes, her eyes were full of hate. She had heard everything I said to Aaron.

“S-sara.” I stuttered.

She turned around and walked away slowly.
