The attack

Emma's Pov

I jumped at Anna's voice, my hands pushing at Scott’s chest as I tried to sit up. From the grimace on his face, I could tell he was very pissed with her for interrupting our moment. I nearly laughed.

"What now, Anna?" Scott groaned, disapproval stretched on his face. "I thought you were taking a stroll."

"Oh, slow down, brother, I didn't realize you were back here." Instead of leaving, she closed the door and came in. "I have an appointment with Emma and it's time we leave."

"Now?" Scott asked.

"But of course.." she spoke she looked at me for support. I stood abruptly, dusting my hands down my dress to straighten it out. I didn't know what Anna was up to, but I realized it must be important from the dim in her eyes.

"Fine," Scott stood, his eyes still narrowed at her. "Whatever it is you better make sure she doesn't exhaust herself and try to bring her back home early."

"Yes, brother, don't cry about it." Scott bared his teeth at her before taking long strides out of the roo
