Captured!

Emma's Pov

"A witch attacked me in the bathroom just now," I said shakily, my gaze shifting to her. The car came to a screeching stop abruptly, shoving me forward. I gasped, my palms grasping the first thing I could touch, in panic. "Anna!" I screamed, "You nearly killed me."

"I know, Im sorry," She faced me. "What did you say again?"

I struggled to normalize my breathing, my eyes still wide in panic. I fell back on the seat and slowly tried to regain myself. "Im serious."

"Why didn't you tell me back there? How?" Her eyes went to the side mirrors checking if anyone was behind us, or for any suspicious behaviour. "I knew those wily creatures won't relent." She was saying, still checking.

"We have to do something, Anna. They are threatening me... and the baby." I didn't want to tell her about the part where I had an agreement with them for the head of her brother in exchange for my future and that of my child.
