Chapter 01

COLE dropped the black wolf he caught not far from their territory where it was spying on them. When he smells the scents of the black wolf, he immediately runs and hunts it down because the pack of black wolves is a great threat to his pack, the white wolves.

When all of his packs saw him coming back with a dead black wolf, they come hurriedly to Cole. Their eyes were immediately fall off to their enemy who they know was trying to see a chance to find a hole attack them. Cole changes back to his human form, he was half-naked after he changes to his true form as a wolf to chase the spy sent by the leader of the black wolf. Cole Light Volkov is the alpha and the leader of the white wolves who lives in the middle part of Arizona. He was the only strong Alpha that's been feared by the black wolves because of its strength, speed, and power. No one can stand against him, and only the black wolves who want and eager to dethrone Cole as the alpha, so they always find a way to kill him, but they are always failed.

"Is he all alone spying on us, Cole?" one of the elders of the white packs ask Cole while he was putting on white clothes that were given by his aunt who raised him after his parents were killed by the black wolves.

"He's the only one I saw spying on us here, they are finding and waiting their moments to attack and take my position as the alpha. Damn those black wolves, Samuel always sent someone in his pack to sacrifice so they can spy on us." Cole answered as he walk where Pablo, the oldest council of their pack followed him.

"Samuel was really eager to take your position, he is a big threat not just only to our pack, but to the humanity they want to eliminate. Samuel wants to end humanity for his evil wolves' desire, this was the fourth time he sent another one of his pack."

Black wolves have a strong desire to eliminate humanity so they will take the reign and build strong packs, while the white wolves want peaceful companionship with all humans as they try their best to socialize as a normal human, and Samuel, the leader of the black wolves hate what they choose.

"Samuel knows that he can't take me down that easily, because if he did, our packs were not living here peacefully. But he knew that he can't easily get rid of me as the alpha of all wolves, that's why he send most of his members to spy on us and find a better time to do his plan. Black wolves are not welcome in this forest, they can hide, but I will eliminate them all if they cause any danger again in our packs." Cole seriously said when Irina, granddaughter of Pablo approach him with a wide smile on her lips.

"You catch again those stinky black wolves who try to mess with our pack, I know that the white wolves' packs are safe and in good hands," Irina told as she praise Cole who was standing in front of her with her grandfather standing in Cole's left side.

"Cole, I know this is not a good time to mention to you about the prophecy of our descendants, but to make the chaos brought by the black wolves that can bring the disappearance of our lineage, you must fulfill the prophecy. You must find your moon, your Luna who will bear a child of the prophecy who will save us from the upcoming chaos." Pablo reminded Cole of the prophecy written a hundred years ago from their descendants.

Cole needs to find his mate, his Luna who can conceive a child with the blood of an alpha, Cole didn't forget what the prophecy was written, but he was having a hard time finding his Luna because all women who tried to sleep with him, died.

Most of the single women of white wolves died when they tried to have sex with him as a ritual to make the prophecy fulfilled, but all of those women failed and end dying.

Cole is handsome, and charming, and has a strong presence that makes all the women wolves throw themselves to feel the touch of their alpha, but after the numerous death of those women, Cole decided to stop to avoid more deaths in his pack. Cole was thinking of a way how can he find his Luna without sacrificing the lives of all women wolves, but he knew that it will be difficult for him but he wants that measure as of now.

"I'm not forgetting that, Pablo, but I don't want to rush this prophecy to fulfill. Finding my Luna is not that easy, I need a woman who can take me and is strong enough not to die while having sex with me, wolves or humans."

"Why don't you try it with me?" Irina said as Cole looked at her.

"It's risky but why don't you take my granddaughter as your mate? Irina is a strong white wolf, she's not a normal wolf in our pack." Pablo said agreeing with what Irina said, that made Cole sigh before seriously staring at Irina.

"You can't, I don't want to have sex with you, Irina, because you are like a sister to me. And I won't risk your life just to fulfill the prophecy, and I know that you're not my mate. Jacob already finds a way for me to find my moon, so don't risk your life just for the safety of the packs, that's my job." Cole said before leaving Irina and Pablo.

He walked to go back to Jacob's lair to discuss the countermeasure and how he will find his Luna but was interrupted by the black wolf who spied on them. He came back and he found Jacob reading some old books, he came towards Jacob and sit in a wooden chair where he can see his friend's broad back.

"Do you find anything?" Cole asks as Jacob turns to face him.

"Yeah, that's the good news. After I read all these dusty and old books that was been left by our ancestors, I found a way how you will find your mate, the future queen of our packs. I know that you are tired of having sex with those wolfy women, then after they will die because they can't take an alpha like you, and as I read this one book. I found a reason why it was happening, where the alpha, had sex with his suspected Luna and then died after." Jacob explained while holding the book and flipping the pages to find the page where he read what he was telling Cole.

"What did you see?"

"Listen, Mr. Alpha, when you sleep with the wrong woman who doesn't have the blood that can't carry yours. Their blood will be contaminated and it will turn into poison that will kill them eventually, that might be the explanation why those women you slept with keep dying, they can't carry your blood as your Luna. I'll tell you, Cole, this prophecy was insane. It was a very hard task for you man, finding your Luna is a very tough mission for you and there's Samuel's pack who was trying and trying himself to take your position to do his evil plan." Jacob said.

Cole leans back to the wooden chair he was sitting on, crossing his legs while analyzing what Jacob told him about the wrong choice of his Luna.

"So I should not pick a random woman to avoid their death, then how will I find my Luna that can carry my blood that can conceive my seed that will fulfill the prophecy?" Cole ask Jacob who smiled widely at him.

"I've been waiting for that question for you to ask, listen to what I found out man." Jacob excitedly put the old books down on a center table that makes Cole's eye land on it.

"Here, you will recognize your Luna in her strong sweet scent that only an alpha like you can smell. You will know that this woman is your Luna when you feel your chest tightened as you grasp your air, and when your body starts to feel the heat, it was because that's scent is attracting you to your mate, you will smell the pheromone scent that will urge you to take her body, and I'll tell you, man, that woman is your mate, your Luna." Jacob explained with a proud voice while Cole was still staring at the page of the books that has written what Jacob told him.

A sweet scent? A pheromone's scent that will attract me, and whoever has that smell is my Luna. Cole said to his mind.

"That Pheromone's scent, can it only be smelled by our fellow women wolves?"

"That's another good question, Mr. Alpha, you can smell that pheromone's scent not only to a wolfy woman but has a tendency that a human has it. But as I read this book, it's rare that a human girl has that sweet scent that can attract you. It has a low probability, Cole, but who knows." Jacob answered before eyeing him.

"No wolfy woman here in our packs has that sweet smell that the book is referring to, right?" Jacob asks slightly nodded by Cole.

"Then, why don't you find your mate having this sweet smell outside this forest? Maybe your Luna is not here but outside our territory." Jacob said his suggestion that made Cole silent in where he was sitting, and thinking.
