“Bye, Mummy!” Zoey's voice rang out as she waved to Kiara and climbed onto the school bus. She spotted her two brothers and, with Zion's help, found a seat. Kiara smiled warmly as the bus drove past her. With a deep sigh, she turned and walked back inside.

Inside, Lisa was grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. “Good morning, Lisa,” Kiara greeted, as she sat down on the couch.

“Morning,” Lisa responded as she took a seat on the couch next to Kiara.

“I can see you had a great time with Blake last night,” Kiara said as she glanced at Lisa and smiled warmly.

Lisa's eyes widened in shock as she spat out the water in her mouth, some spilling on the floor. She stared at Kiara in disbelief and it made her cheeks flush with embarrassment. Kiara smirked and moved to sit next to Lisa. “Come on, Lisa, you don't need to lie to me. I know what's going on between you two,” She said. “Blake loves you, Lisa.”
