“Hey Cass, wait up,” Caroline called out as she rushed up to meet him but without giving one last glance at her, Cass shut the door behind leaving Caroline confused and heartbroken. “Cass?” She whispered as she stood restless at the front door.

When she got no response, gently slid to the floor and sat at the front door. As she inhaled a deep breath, a light smile curled on her lips as she began to recall the moment she had met Cass.

She was just an 18-year-old lady who had tried so hard to escape from her duties as the next in line of leading the firestorm pack because she believed she also had the right to pursue her dreams of finding her perfect match.
