“Good morning, honey,” Aiden's gentle voice broke through Kiara's sleepy haze as she rubbed the last traces of sleep from her eyes. “Morning,” she replied, sitting up straight in bed.

Aiden walked over and placed a cup of coffee on the nightstand next to her. “There you go,” He whispered as he leaned down to place a tender kiss on her forehead. Kiara smiled warmly as memories of the sweet moments she had shared with Aiden the previous night came flooding back. She had missed his warmth and the comfort of his touch.

“Don't you like it?” Aiden questioned as he sat down beside Kiara his eyes soft and adoring while he watched her sip her coffee. She took a few gulps, relishing the hot, bitter taste, before she suddenly realized it was too hot. Spluttering, she coughed as the liquid burned her throat.

"Oh, I do love it," she gasped, the irony of her words not lost on her as she recovered from her coughing fit. Aiden, however, remained calm and collected, as his hand gently rubbed her back
