Kiara stood outside the compound she shook her hands into her pocket and let out a deep sigh. She then cocked her head on her wristwatch instantly. Disappointed, Kiara began walking to the front door and squeezed the knob gently. Just as she was about to step inside, the sound of Blake's horn echoed through the air and it made her turn around immediately.

A warm smile curled on her lips as she spotted Lisa rushing towards her. “Hey, bestie,” Lisa exclaimed as she embraced Kiara tightly. “Miss me?” She added while she arched her eyebrows.

“You were only gone for a few days Lisa, and not for years,” Kiara responded as she rolled her eyeballs and it made Lisa laugh slightly. “Come on, let's have lunch together. Aiden and the kids are inside as well.” Kiara declared while she turned to leave but Lisa grabbed her hand gently.
