Chapter 2

  Soon it was time for the talent ceremony. It's a very important ceremony, where the bride is asked to show her talent to the groom.

I love singing, so I sang my favorite song, which gives me peace and calms me.

I was sitting in a chair in the middle of the room, everyone’s attention directed at me.

I sat in the front of my piano and started:

      Spirit lead me where my trust

                Is without borders

          Let me walk upon the water

            Wherever you would call me

            Take me deeper than my feet

                  Could ever  wander

              And my faith will be made

                           Stronger

               In the presence of my savior.

When I was done, everyone applauded. When I opened my eyes I found the alpha king Ethan Alexander staring directly at me. He wasn’t applauding, but there was a hint of a smile on his face.

After a while the marriage was over, it was time for me to go to my new home, thinking about it I couldn’t help but feel sad, and fear what will happen to me now, how will my life turns out, will I be killed,  I can’t even think of finding my mate anymore because I’m now Married.

“Don’t worry, it is going to be alright.” Bella said to me. “We are going to be fine.”

I don’t know why but she seems confident, but I wasn’t. I have heard a lot of rumors and I know it’s not alright. What if those rumors are true?

Sophia and Ava walked up to me and held my hands, how I wish I could take them with me, how I wish I didn't have to leave them behind.

All my life they were the only friends I had but now I will be leaving them to an unknown world I know nothing about, will I be safe?

“Don’t worry, everything will be alright, as you can see he is handsome, don’t worry I’m sure he will take care of you.” Sophia said with a smile on her face while Ava hugged me so tightly.

“We will miss you.” Ava said still hugging me tightly, Sophia smiled and joined the hug group.

Few minutes later a guard came in.

“Ma, it is time to go, his majesty is waiting for you outside.” The guard said, leading the way.

I looked back and saw my father, he didn’t even care if I was leaving, that he wouldn’t see me again, instead he was laughing with his friends, he didn’t even bother to say goodbye to me.

It hurt, it hurt a lot, being hated by the one person to love you the most in the world, sometimes I think, if my mother was alive would she have also hated me just like father, that was one of the question I couldn’t get an answer to but I wish she would’ve love me.

I looked at the guard and immediately follows him, we got outside and a saw a limousine parked outside, this was the first time in my life to see a limousine in physical, like in real life, I normally sees it on photos, because I was not allowed to come outside,

I guess this is the starting of a new life for me and I hope it’s a good one, I smiled and walk closer to the limousine, the guard opened the door and I went inside, I saw the alpha king Ethan Alexander or should I say my husband sitting inside, its was so cozy and relaxing inside most importantly it was beautiful and it was screaming money with the look of the furniture inside.

I couldn’t help but smile, showing my 32 teeth without knowing.

“Why are you excited? Is this your first time seeing a limousine?.” Ethan asked which brought me out of my thoughts. That was when I noticed I was smiling like a crazy girl.

“Oh you didn’t know you were smiling like a crazy girl before?” Bella asked, I could feel the sound of her laughter in my head but I just ignored her, she was a crazy wolf, that I know!

 “Actually I’m sorry your majesty, this is the first time I’m seeing a limousine, I have always seen it in pictures but not physically, I guess that is why I got too excited.” I replied, bowing my head looking at the floor of the car.

“Okay, you can call me Ethan when we are alone.” He said looking outside the window.

Well this is a good start maybe he won’t be that evil like I thought but then a thought came to my mind, in this society of men, men are allowed to marry more than one woman, I don’t know if this man before me has extra wives at home, but I need to know so that I can be prepared.

“Do you have another wife at home?” I asked, but I regretted it immediately. I shouldn’t have asked, what if he gets angry and kills me before I even get to see his home. I was scared but I tried my best to remain calm.

“No, I don’t, the one I had before is dead.” He replied without any emotion, like I couldn’t know what he was feeling.

“ oh the one you killed.” I thought to myself but got a sharp look from him, and for a moment I could see hurt in his eyes, it was as if he heard my thoughts but I’m not sure, or maybe I’m losing my mind.

● After a while the car stopped, and then a guard informed us that we had arrived. Ethan stepped out of the car and offered me his hand and I took it, and he helped me down.

His house was large and grand, or should I say palace because he is the alpha king, and the garden was beautiful, not To talk about the luxurious cars in the parking lots, looking at how beautiful and luxurious the house is from outside, I couldn’t help imagine how it will look inside.

“Uncle Ethan.” Someone called, and I turned my head to see who it was.

Only to see two adorable kids, they were twins and were very adorable, they came running towards us  and hugged Ethan.

On how little they were I could tell they wouldn’t be more than 5 years old, but they were so pretty and adorable.

“We came to welcome you and your bride, mother told us you were getting married today.” The first little girl in a pink dress said with a smile on her face.

“Is that so?” Ethan asked with a smile on his face and stroked the first little girl in a pink dress, hair.

But to be honest this was the first time I was seeing him smile genuinely, and he is so handsome when he smiles, I wonder why he doesn’t smile often.

“Is this your bride?” The other little girl in a yellow dress said. “She is pretty.”

I couldn’t help but smile at her compliment.

Ethan stood up and was about to introduce the kids to me.

“Isabella, this is Lucy.” He said pointing at the little girl in pink.

“And this is Layla.” Pointing at the little girl in yellow. “They are my sister’s kids and also my guardian angels.” He said with a big smile on his face.

I bend down to the height of them, they were so little and adorable.”

“It’s nice to meet you two, my name is  Isabella.” I said with a smile on my face.
