Chapter 1

 Isabella’s pov

   All my life this was the day I was scared of the most, but it’s also the day I will be free from the cage called the pack house, I have alway been a prisoner in my own home, my father was alpha Gabriel Sebastian the leader of moonlight pack.

My father hated me because I was a girl, he has always wanted a boy child who can rule after him, but unfortunately I turn out to be a girl instead of the boy he always wanted, my mother died after given birth to me, so my father hated me even more he told me I was a cursed child, that I was a reason for the death of his mate, my mother.

Well I accepted the fact that my father hated me.

Today was the day I was getting married, to a man I knew nothing about, apart from the fact that he was the alpha king and his name was Ethan Alexander.

Rumor has it that he was ruthless and evil, that he doesn’t think twice before killing anyone that offends him, that he was the most powerful and dangerous werewolf in existence.

I always knew that I was never going to be able to choose whom to Marry because I was a woman and to my father I’m a curse that he  needs to  get rid of. I didn’t have the right to choose whom I want to marry.

My opinions and feelings didn’t matter to anyone, not even my own family. In fact, my father sees me as a curse and if he could earn anything by getting rid of me he was ready to do it.

I guess the alpha king gave him something that was why he was selling me off to him, when he knew how dangerous the alpha king was, he didn’t care about my life or welfare.

I’m turning 18 years old in a few days, that was when I will get to see my mate but my father deprived me of that, now I’m getting married to someone that I’m not sure is my mate a dangerous person at that.

If only I was the boy child he wanted, maybe this things would not be happening to me, maybe he would not have hated me, maybe he wouldn’t have locked me inside my room as a prisoner all my life.

I felt sad and angry, but now was not the time to get angry. Leaving all the sad thoughts behind me, I looked at myself in the mirror.

My maids had spent hours getting me dressed, making me look more beautiful than I was. I was wearing a white gown, my blonde hair was combed backwards beautifully with a silver crown stoned with diamonds on my head. The makeup was light and perfect.

“My lady, you look so beautiful.” Sophia said with a smile on her face.

Sophia and Ava, have been taking care of me since I was young. They were the only ones I could talk to, since I was not allowed to make friends or even leave my room.

“Thank you.” I tried to smile but failed.

Sophia could see the fear and sadness on my face, I was so scared but maybe I can find freedom there maybe is not that bad, I tried to encourage myself

“Everything will be alright,” she told me.

“My lady, it’s time,” a court lady came in to informed me.

I descended the stairs, carefully, my mind wondered, I was lost in thought, I stepped on my dress and stumbled forward, almost falling before a strong arm came around my waist and save me from falling and ruining my dress.

I straightening my dress and looked up to see who it was, that save me from disgracing myself on my wedding day.

Looking up my eyes met a pair of green eyes, they were glowing. I had never seen such eyes like that before.

Who was this man? I had never seen him before. He was tall, broad shouldered, chiseled jawline and his thick black hair fell over his shoulders. You could tell from the clothes he was wearing that he was royalty.

“Are you alright?.” The man asked with a frown.

His question brought me out from my thoughts.

“Yes, I am …. Fine,” I replied.

“Okay.” He said before turning around and leaving.

I took a deep breath, and walk into the hall carefully, all eyes were on me. I walked with my head high but kept my gaze low, only looking at the floor until I reached the throne where my father was sitting. I greeted him.

He just gestured for me to sit down at a table nearby. He was unbothered by the fact that he was selling me off to someone I don’t know and most importantly an alpha king rumored to be a ruthless and dangerous man, someone that Murdered his own wife, a demon in human clothing.

Well I’m not surprised, he has always hated me and wanted to get rid of me, I guess this was an opportunity, I wish he could have waited a little longer, for me to clocked 18 years old, then I will meet my mate and get married to him, but No, he couldn’t wait, he just wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible.

I could feel everyone’s eyes on me, some stared at me with pity and others with repulsion as if it was my fault I was getting married to whoever I was getting married to.

They should blame my greedy and selfish father, not me.

After a while, the guard informed the groom’s presence and everyone turned their attention from me to the door. Immediately the groom entered, at first I was to nervous to looked at him, I was scared, what if he is very ugly? I thought to my self

“Are you really being serious right now?” My wolf, Bella asked.

I was surprised to hear from her, ever since she knew I was getting married to someone who might not be our mate, she has been silent, it been days since she has been silent, I thought she will never talk to me again.

“Ain’t you supposed to be thinking what if he kill us, because we are not what he wanted just like he killed his ex wife.” She spoke again.

I couldn’t help but smile, it has been long since I heard her voice, and I miss her so much.

I decided to raise my head and take a look at my future husband, but I was shocked by who I saw.

Wait!

Wasn’t this the same man that save me from falling and from disgracing myself a moment ago, how come he is going to be my future husband, the same man with the glowing green eyes.

He walked gracefully toward my father, taking each step with confidence.

My father  immediately stood up and bow down to him, offering him his throne for him to sit but he bluntly refused and sat on the chair closer to me.

As I saw him turn to me I looked down quickly.
