Chapter 2

Day 1

Koyama Yua is everyone's dream girl. She has brunette hair, tiger-like eyes, a button nose, and fluffy cheeks. 

She's intelligent, gorgeous, sexy, and cute. And everyone really likes her here because she is kind. I'm not saying I'm terrible but she's approachable. She always has a smile on her face while I don't.

I'm not a very friendly person... And the reason is that I am shy. I'm shy around new people and wasn't able to go talk to them.

"Hey, what are you thinking?" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked in front, seeing Autumn with a smile while she took the seat in front of me.

We are currently in the cafeteria. Dylan is beside me while Aiko is beside Autumn.

Right, I forgot to introduce them. 

Let's start with the oldest among us, four. Dylan Jung is the captain of our basketball team. He has this weird personality in him that he always uses...

But he's not annoying, in fact, he is a very caring and lovable person. In terms of appearance, I'll say he is 10 out of 10.

He's very attractive with that easy comb-over blonde hair, slightly bigger eyes, a not-so-pointy-but-still-looks good nose, and thin lips.

He's quite like a playboy which is the reason why Natalie falls in love with him. I don’t know why Natalie likes those kinds of guys but guess she’s right since Dylan is kind.

Oh, Natalie? She's attractive as well, she has dimples on both of her cheeks, wavy brown hair, and a button nose. 

Autumn Choi is the student council president of the school. She is a year older than me but still manages to be my friend. She has black shoulder-length hair, freckles, and big glasses for her to see well but she’s too pretty to become a nerd.

She's smart, ranks at the 10th spot which isn't a bad spot since the students are all her opposer when it comes to that spot.

Tanaka Aiko is the president of the art club. She's the person who builds her club which is the art club since she likes to paint. Aiko has mid-length orange hair and looks like a lion.

Ever since she was little, she was seen to be this artistic girl who can do pretty much everything. And here she is now, ranked at the 8th spot, can do dancing, singing, painting, acting, etc.

"Nothing, why are you here?" I ask as she furrows her eyebrows and chuckles.

"What are you talking about? I'll always be here when you guys are here" Autumn stated as Dylan snorted.

"Psshh... Just tell us that you either have free time or Chase is busy" he said as Autumn glared at him before smacking his shoulder.

The two of them are best friends that's why it's not a surprise to see Dylan teasing her.

I mean, Dylan is the type of person who likes to tease everyone around him.

Who's Chase you ask? He is Autumn’s boyfriend. Chase Sakai is the famous heir of Sakai Corporation, but he built his own company known as Chakai Law Firm. 

But Chase still attended the school since he's already in his last year.

"Fine, Chase’s not here and I have free time," Autumn said as she smiled at Dylan, while the older one looked at her weirdly.

"Hello! Good morning!" I looked at my back and saw Sky as she made her way towards our direction with a smile.

Of course with her being clumsy as she almost slipped into nothing.

She's Sky Zhang, clumsy, cute, pretty, and... Dumb... 

Sky is known to be the cheerleader captain and they are serious when they say she is the captain.

At first, I was like, they are kidding, right? Since I've seen Sky as clumsy and dumb. Not that she's really dumb but she's pretty much of a naive person.

But she's flirty.

Also, Sky looks like a doll that looks innocent but can kill you. She’s dangerous.

Sky takes the seat at my right side as she quickly clings to my right arm.

"Are you all not going to the party tonight?" Sky asked which made me furrow my eyebrows.

I forgot to tell you, Sky likes to party a lot. She would often drag us or we just really don't want to come. She's always with her other group of friends.

Which of course, are a bunch of party people.

However, Sky is always with us and won't leave our side even if her other friends invite her.

She said she's just with them to have party buddies, that's why.

Quite bad right?

"Party? Who's throwing a party?" Aiko asks as she puts down the Rubik's cube that she just solved.

"Yua, she said everyone is invited since she's going to celebrate something and she's going to announce something".

I'm curious what she's going to say. 

Yua is the type of girl who's more of a home buddy because she prioritizes her studies over something not important.

She won't be in our top 4 if not right?

I've even heard that she wants to beat MJ in terms of the ranking.

She never liked him and I wonder why.

I mean, MJ is a good student. He is even friendly because I've heard that he is friends with the soccer captain in school.

Though, everyone really just can't seem to pick him up because he is a scholar.

"Hey! Get back here!" I looked to my left and saw some people, running in my direction as they seemed to be following someone.

I shrugged my shoulders and closed the door of my locker before I was dragged into some room.

I felt a hand on my mouth as multiple running steps could be heard outside. 

"Make sure to find him, we still need to admit him to Yua" a person stated that made me furrow my eyebrows.

Him? Wait, that means.

I looked in front and saw MJ’s face close to mine. His eyes are fixed on the door with a nervous look on his face.

"Do you think they walk away?" I look at the door and then back at MJ before nodding my head.

"Yeah," I said as he quickly looked at me and smiled.

"Hey, Patima, didn't know I pulled you into this, sorry about that," he said as he quickly opened the door and walked out.

I walk out as well and bow down at him before waving my hands in front.

"It's fine, you get out of the situation well enough," I said and was about to walk away from him but he stopped me by holding my wrist.

"Wait, Patima," he said as I looked at him and raised one of my eyebrows.

He removes his hand from my wrist and scratches his nape while avoiding my gaze.

"Can you help me?" He asks as his cheeks become flush.

I furrow my eyebrows at his reaction. And why the hell is he asking for my help? He can just ask his friends like Dylan.

Yeah, forgot to tell you that he and Dylan are both friends because they are both parts of the basketball team.

"If it's not that hard then I can, what do I need to do?" I ask him.

He sighs before closing his eyes, probably asking himself one more time if he's really going to ask me or not.

I know him, as I said, we used to be friends- or we used to talk to each other.

He opens his eyes and all I can see is a phrase; you can do it, just ask her.

He looked for my hands first and held them, which made me furrow my eyebrows more.

"Can you help me? I... I want to work... On my system of how to become a great boyfriend," I saw an expression that states; there I said it, finally!
