Chapter 6

Day 3

"Maybe Patima just cleared things between them, you know, Daisuke has been bothering her since the very first day," Sky said then shrugged her shoulders.

"Huh? As if, I saw them both hugging earlier before the bell rang" Brittany, one of the new students in the school, and Sky got a chance to meet her.

Sky was assigned to tour Brittany when she was new in the school. They became friends eventually and right now, she's going to introduce her to the others.

Brittany knew about MJ and Patima since Sky told her about the two... And since it is the headline of their school's official website, 'A popular girl hooked up with her poor friend'... Yep, that is the title.

They are currently heading towards the cafeteria as they both talk about Patima and Daisuke.

"Really? Maybe Dasiuke just wished for a last hug" Brittany shrugged.

"Maybe, maybe not, we'll find it out soon anyways" Sky nods her head in agreement. They soon reached the cafeteria.

"There they are," Sky pointed at the long table as soon as she saw her friends. She dragged Brittany to the table that made everyone shut up.

"Hey, guys!" Sky cheerfully greeted them as everyone looked at her in confusion. 

"Uhh... Hey, Sky, who are you with?" Aiko asks her as the others sit down on their chairs comfortably.

"Oh, she's Brittany, my friend," Sky said, which made Brittany bow down in front of them. 

"Hello, I'm Brittany Park, nice to meet you all," she said then smiled at them. Autumn stands up then bows at her.

"Good afternoon, I am Autumn, Autumn Choi, I am in charge of the quietness of the group" she stated.

"Psshh, so vocal, I'm Natalie Fionnlagh, the prettiest" Natalie stood up then flipped her hair sideways.

Dylan snorted which made Natalie look at him then smack him on the shoulder.

"Ugh! Quit it” Aimi spoke in English which caused the two to look at her in confusion. 

"Anyways, My name is Aimi Choi, Autumn and I are not related but yeah, you can call me Ai, Aim, or Aimi, anything you want as long as it works," Aimi said then offered her hands.

Brittany grabs her hand then shakes it with a smile. Aiko stands up from her chair then bows down.

"I'm the other Ai, Tanaka Aiko" she offers her hand as the girl in front nods then accepts her hand.

"I'm Dylan Jung, call me anything that you're comfortable with" Dylan bowed down in front of her.

Brittany nodded her head then looked around, not seeing the tan-skinned girl and the tallest among them.

"Amber, she doesn't usually eat here with us and I think she won't be here as I saw her walking out of the school" Dylan casually said.

Autumn looks at him then raises her eyebrows before crossing her arms. 

"You didn't tell me anything, Dylan Jung" Autumn said as the long-haired guy looked at her.

"What? I thought you already freed Amber from your grasp" Dylan said to her. The big-eyed girl glared at him and is about to smack him when Natalie goes between them.

"Hey! Sky brought her friend here so please keep quiet, and Autumn, you're the President so think of your image" Autumn sat down while Dylan shrugged then sat down.

Patima walks inside the cafeteria then furrows her eyebrows when she sees that their table is quiet.

She walks in their direction then bows down in front of Brittany. 

"Uhhmm... I just wanna ask, did MJ come to class?" They all look at Natalie, as she and MJ have the same third class.

"Uhh... I didn't see him there" Natalie said, then looked at Patima in confusion. Patima sighs, then nods her head before settling down on the chair.

Sky and Brittany both sat down as Sky looked at Patima teasingly.

"Hmm... Seems like you're looking for him, why?" Sky asks her while raising her eyebrows at the girl. The others look at Patima as well in confusion.

The youngest looks at them then place her elbow on the table before sighing.

"I don't know, I suddenly felt guilty for yesterday since we couldn't hang out... And I wanna ask him about why his neck was red" she said. 

"Ahh... His neck was red since he has an allergy to daisies" Aimi said then shrugged. Patima widens her eyes then looks at Aimi.

"What!? He never told me anything about him getting an allergy!" She stood up from her chair then looked at the others.

"Patima, if you're thinking that we didn't tell you, you're wrong, we just had the information this morning," Natalie said as she saw Patima's eyes. 

Patima sat down on her chair then sulked. 

"Hey, Amber just told us about his allergy, so chill," Aimi said as she took a bite of her sandwich.

"Yeah, so please chill," Sky said as she stood up then walked to the counter. Brittany excuses herself then orders herself food as well.

Patima grabs her phone inside her pocket then texts Daisuke.

Patima:

Hey, can we cancel our hang-out? Dad wants me to come home early.

Daisuke:

Really? Yes, we can, I'll set it up, maybe tomorrow?

Patima:

Uhm... MJ and I are going to hang out tomorrow since yesterday we couldn't.

Daisuke:

Alright, Friday it is.

Patima put down her phone then looked at Autumn. The big-eyed girl raises an eyebrow before nodding her head.

"Alright, I'll buy you, wait for it" Patima smile widely then nod her head eagerly.

Patima walks out of her last class quickly. She's going to go home and visit MJ to confront him.

She walked out of the school but got shocked when she saw a familiar car. The car door opened as the person inside smiled at her then bowed.

"Hey, miss me?" The person asks. Patima smiles then walks towards the car.

"What are you doing here? I thought you're at Kyoto?" She asks him. The person inside shrugged his shoulders then invited Patima inside.

The girl walks to the side then opens the door of the passenger seat. "Well, Ivy decided to let me visit you as she might think that you're sad," the person said.

Patima shook her head as she wore the seatbelt. 

"I'm not, Sam, please tell that to Ivy" Sam nods his head then starts the engine.

"You're going home? I'm gonna drop you off then visit Auntie and Uncle as well, I still need to visit Mom and Dad" he said.

"No, I'm gonna go to MJ's house, he didn't come to school today" the older nod his head then starts to drive 

He is Sam Shui, Patima's cousin. They are not related as Sam was adopted by Patima's Auntie. They treat each other like siblings, the same as Patima's brother, he as well treats Sam as his brother. He's actually very lonely so they always play with him.

"Why didn't he come to school today? That's quite new for him" Sam said as he pulled out at the side of the road.

Patima looks around then sees that they are already in front of MJ's house. Sam knew MJ as they all grew up playing with each other.

But unlike Sam, MJ is happy even if he's alone. 

"They said his allergy got triggered so I'm here to confirm it" Patima removed her seatbelt then grabbed her backpack.

She looks at Sam then smiles before bowing her head a little.

"Thanks, Sam," she said, then walked out of the car. Sam removes his seatbelt then walks out as well.

"Well, I need to see that idiot so let's go" he locked his car then ran towards the door. 

"Hey! You small buff creature! Stop playing and eat this medicine!" Patima and Sam both look at each other.

"That's Amber" Patima opens the door then looks at the two inside. 

"What are you doing here?" Amber places down the medicine while MJ just looks at the door. 

Patima ignores Amber then walks in MJ's direction.

"You, why didn't you tell me anything about this?" Patima asks as she points at MJ's neck.

The guy smiled then shook his head, telling her that he couldn't talk for now. Amber sigh then sat down on the chair beside MJ.

"He couldn't talk, Sam, come sit with us" the oldest sat down then faced MJ. 

"Yow Mark, you made my cousin guilty, look" MJ looked at his side and saw that Patima was looking down on her lap.

He smiles then pats Patima's head that made the girl look up at him. He shakes his head, telling her not to worry anymore.

"MJ wants to tell you that you shouldn't be worried about him, he's fine and kicking" Amber shrugged then grabbed an orange that she prepared for MJ.

Patima pout then glares at MJ.

"Still, you should have told me anything about it," she said, which made MJ smile widely and nod his head.
