Ch. 64 THE EVIDENCE

Alpha Michael’s POV

I looked from side to side to make sure there was no one standing around the dark corridors of the packhouse as I knocked hard on Nicholas's door.

The doors swung open, and Nicholas grabbed me by the collar and pulled me into the room before shutting the door behind us. Nicholas looked stressed out as he backed away from me, running his hand through his thick hair.

"Where is the evidence you were talking about?" I asked impatiently. Nicholas didn't utter a word as he walked across his spacious room straight to his nightstand and pulled open the bottom drawer. He fished out a brown box and placed it on the bed before removing the lid.

I groaned, covering my nose in disgust as my eyes landed on a purple towel inside the box. It was smelly and covered in blood, and the murder weapon was wrapped in a white nylon next to it.

"The investigator found this in Emily's room," Nicholas explained. "She cleaned her hands with the towel, and her fingerprints are all over it. S
