I glanced over my wrist watch anxiously as there was no sign of Colton. He promised to pick me up at 12:15 but it's almost 12:45 and he's nowhere to be seen. I tried calling him a few times but it directly went on voice-mail.

"What happened baby? You look stressed?" Dad's voice forced me to wipe my moist eyes and I turned to face him with a smile. But with whom was I kidding? He's my father who knows every single fibre in my body.

He inched closer and dabbed his fingers on my eyes.

"You're worried about Colton,right?" He asked.

I said nothing instead shook my head slowly.

"Don't worry, he is outside talking with the security team. His phone fell from his hand and broke as he told us. Go and meet him." Dad said and I could feel my heartbeats returned to normal rate.

"Thanks, Dad." I kissed his cheek and hurried out of the mansion.
