"How's she?" We asked the doctors impatiently.

The senior doctor removed his mask and shook his head passively. My heart sank.

"Miss Parker is fine. There's no major injuries on her body just a concussion on her head due to the blow and a few cuts on her hands but this isn't our concern, Mr. Black." He told us which gave me partial relief.

"How are her babies, Doctor?" Mr. Parker asked him. Sweat beads formed on his forehead.

"That's what my concern is, Mathew." Doctor addressed him by his name,"Your daughter lost one of the fetus due to the blow. Her stomach was hit. We managed to save one baby but next few hours will be very crucial for the alive one." The doctor said in a pensive voice.
