I didn't know why but my heart wasn't at peace. I felt a constant hollowness invading my heart everytime I tried to distract my mind from everything going around me. I tried calling Brandon and Colton but their phone went directly on voice-mail which increased my anxiety. I didn't send Chase to school though my Dad ensured me that he would be fine but I was a mother whose child was once taken away.

I couldn't afford another risk.

Unable to sleep or rest, I slipped out of my bed and walked upto my window, it's already evening but there's no sign of Colton nor I received any news from their side.
