The ghostly silence lurking in the air of my father's study room could be felt in the bones. No one dared to break the silence after what Colton told us. It was very hard to believe, specially for my parents whose other daughter was blind in vengeance. She could even destroy them.

"So, you said that Evanca, Dominic and Francis are together in this?" Dad finally broke the heaviness of the air by asking Colton a very simple question.

"Yes, Sir. We have a plenty of proofs to solidate our allegations. Dominic and Evanca, who have been lovers for years actually married secretly in a country church. I showed you the marriage certificate, if you want you can ask your own lawyer to test it. I am sure they'll say the same." Colton replied with confidence whreas my head started spinning.
