Book 4: Chapter 30

“I’m going to call the police,” said the sales agent, but the attempt to dial was interrupted when the woman spoke.

“Go ahead!” Trisha kicked the broken pieces of bottle while her hands steadied on her waist in front of the two.

The sales representative was stunned again. When there is an investigation, the truth will be known. He hesitated to continue dialing his cellphone. A few moments later, some men arrived and they looked professionals.

“Trisha, what kind of mess are you making here?”

The manager even seemed to see a ghost when he met the newcomer. He met him because of an event held last month. And how could he not be nervous? The newcomer knew the woman they were targeting.

The aura of Trisha’s face that faced her cousin was still dark. “They’re so mean! They’re accusing me of being a thief!”

“What?” Tristan looked around at the people there in disbelief. “Are you serious?” he asked the manager.

“Sir, there was just a misunderstanding,” the manager explained nervously.
