Book 4: Chapter 34-Exchange

Cyril couldn’t get out of the car when Tristan called.

“Someone kidnapped Jade and your friend must have had something to do with it!” Tristan’s jaw clenched with anger.

“What? How can you be sure?” Cyril was confused, because of all the people, why was Jade used by an enemy against him?

“The person who abducted her called and wanted in exchange for Jade’s safety is to take the footage of the surveillance camera from me.”

Cyril cursed and did not think that Divina’s family could imagine such violence towards others. Tristan is right that there is no one else to suspect what happened now but Divina’s family.

“I can’t trace Jade’s whereabouts. If something bad happens to her, I won’t hesitate to break your friend’s neck!”

Cyril knew Tristan wasn’t kidding. If he talks about brutality, he’s worse than Adrian. His patience was shorter, and he no longer wondered where the beastly behavior came from. But he had not yet heard that the young man had killed anyone.

“Leave it to me first.
