Travis nodded and left the room first. He was not such a fellow to forbid the young man. He knew that the woman really had health issues because he himself helped to treat her just to make sure.

Arche sighed when the chairman was gone.

“Cyril, I’m sorry if you were imprisoned for a few years because of my family’s selfishness. We didn’t think that you would also miss the person you truly love.”

“I think of Divina as a true friend. And because she wanted me to love her, she intended to hurt her that night.”

Arche embarrassingly apologized to the young man again. It seems that he has also found out the truth. It was true addicts had lurked against him before and his daughter didn’t know them. And his daughter was just not thinking and even ordered the other one to hurt him. She thought that the man she talked to would follow her. But the addicted man was no longer in his right mind and hit his daughter’s head harder.
