“I have an important trip; you will take my fiancée to her house first.”

Beatrix didn’t know if she should be thrilled or disappointed after hearing what Aldrin said. He called her his fiancée, but it was disappointing because someone else was going to drive her home instead of Aldrin.

“I have a sudden meeting, so I can’t take you. Manong will take care of you.”

Beatrix would have objected and wanted to tell the man that she would leave later in that case, but the driver was already on board. He didn’t even wait for her to speak and immediately started the car. Fortunately, she was wearing a seat belt.

Aldrin just waited for the car to leave the gate before he went back inside the house. His father and mother were waiting in the living room.

“Are you sure the two women don’t notice what you were doing?” Adrian asked his son.

“Yes, I’m sure, Dad.” He picked up the catalog that Clara left and then faced his mother. “Mom, you take care of this.”

Sunshine took what her son’s was holding
