Book 6: Chapter 70-Resort

Aldrin looked at the watch he was wearing again and counted down a few more minutes of waiting.

“Mommy!” Tyler was jumping for joy when he saw his mother just getting out of the elevator.

Clara was surprised to see her son. When he looked at Aldrin, his face showed impatience as he leaned against the wall.

“Mama, where have you been? Daddy and I were here a while ago!”

Compassionately, she picked up her son and kissed him on the cheek. “I just had something important to go to, baby. It’s your father’s fault that you waited so long here and he didn’t call me,” she said to Aldrin indirectly.

“He wants to surprise you,” Aldrin briefly explained to the woman.

She just glared at the man and opened the door while still carrying the child. After entering, the boy ran around inside her pad. It was as if he had just been to someone else’s house.

“I just delivered Tyler, and he wants to sleep here.”

Clara looked at the man questioningly. Sometimes, she wonders why he has so much trust in her.
