Book 6: Chapter 71-Accepted

“Archer...” Luke called his nephew.

When the boy looked up, Aldrin didn’t realize that he was holding his breath. He is more afraid of seeing his son’s negative reaction to him than of going to war.

“Daddy?” Archer exclaimed.

It looked like Aldrin was having a heart attack as he clutched his chest and gasped for air several times, and it was as if his lungs were depleted of oxygen. He didn’t know that it also took a few seconds for him to catch his breath.

Luke taps Aldrin on the shoulder and understands his emotions. The man was innocent of what happened in his sister’s life, so he should not be blamed. There is no one else to blame but the people who cheated on his sister.

“Hey, Daddy, help me up!” Archer ordered his father like an old man, and he became impatient when his father just stared at him.

Aldrin almost tripped in his haste, and when he caught him by the hand, he immediately hugged him. “Son, I’m sorry. Aren’t you mad at me?”

“Daddy, I’m wet,” Archer complained.
