Chapter 49: SURPRISE

I couldn’t believe the speed at which I saw Killian run into the room. I lay on Alpha Killian's bed, dressed in nothing but bum shorts and a sports bra. I couldn't help but feel a surge of anticipation coursing through my veins.

It was a risk to wear such attire in my condition, but I was willing to endure the discomfort if it meant impressing Killian, who was gradually capturing my heart. I had spent the day alone and thinking about him.

And so, as I waited for him to return, my mind buzzed with a heady mix of excitement and nervousness, my heart racing in anticipation of his reaction.

I wanted to surprise him, to see the look of desire and admiration in his eyes when he saw me, to know that I had succeeded in capturing his attention as he had captured mine.

And then, suddenly, he was there, bursting through the door with a look of shock etched upon his features.
