Chad’s POV

When I walked into the house I felt so broken. The next time I came back here was supposed to be with Jill by my side and we were going to live here together. Now I was returning alone, and she was now Alpha of a different pack. I walked up to the bedroom and collapsed on the bed. I did not even bother to remove my shoes. It had been a shit night and I just wanted to sleep and hope that tomorrow was a better day and Jill would allow me back in her pack.

I woke up and climbed into the shower. All I could think about was Jill and how cold she had been. I could not blame her, she saw me fucking someone else and I actually winked at her. If I was her I would hate me too. I had just climbed out of the shower and was getting dressed when she mind-linked me.
