“Is that blood?” Jess asked, wondering how that had gotten there in the first place.

“He is in trouble,” I said.

“I guess they must have been attacked, leading to him running away!” I said.

“And now he's wounded” we both chorused.

“This is really bad!!” Jess said.

“What do we do?” she asked, looking so scared staring at me.

I thought of ways of getting him back, but remembered there had been an attack, and remembering how messed up the whole town is at the moment.

“I don't think we would be able to find him with all of what has happened,” I said.

“Are you girls good in there?” a guard asked, walking into the house.

“Yes, we are good,” I said.

Jess and I stayed silent for a couple of seconds staring at ourselves with both of us in deep thoughts on what to do.

“We can inform the Chief Commander to have them send out a search party into the woods” I said hoping I was starting to make sense.
