Walking down the hallway the kiss was all I could remember.

I played with the hem of my dress, feeling so alive walking down the hallway leading to my bedroom.

I had wanted any of what was happening to continue, but then we had been interrupted by Liam who had come in to let out information he had gotten from town concerning Henry.

I wanted to hear it so badly, but had to excuse them.

Jess was going to find out anyway.

I moved my way up the stairs, feeling so engrossed in my thoughts as the scene where we had kissed played over and over again in my head.

And just when I had wanted to take the next step up the stairs, I felt someone behind me.

I paused, I heard tiny footsteps from behind me.

But I wanted to be sure that I wasn't hallucinating and then I turned quietly not wanting to be too loud with my steps.
