Hundred and Forty Seven

I stiffened when I realized his eyes were slowly creeping into my soul.

He had my hands raised to his head as he drew himself closer to me.

I scooted backwards a bit, feeling weird watching him act in such a manner which I obviously wasn't habituated to.

“Relax!” he said, breathing into my face.

I forced a smile staring at him, waiting to hear what he had in mind to say to me at this point.

“Would…” he stuttered, tightening his grip around my hand.

I leaned forward, staring at him with fear flitting in my eyes.

I was scared of what he had in mind to say to me…

“I have been working on getting the whole process done,” he said abruptly.

I stared at him bemused at what information he was trying to pass to me.

“What process?” I asked with my dark lashes that barely contained excitement and confusion on what to expect from those lips of his.

“Your Coronation!” he finally voices out, staring at me.

“I'm lost,” I said.

“Coronation on what exactly?” I asked.

He stayed silent for a couple
