CHAPTER 24: OVER IT

Antionette's POV

"Rise and shine, my lady!" My newest handmaiden, Ana said happily entering my quarters. "It's too early," I groaned. "Please get up, my lady. "Your mother is on a rampage this morning," Ana nervously explained. "I'll be right there. I demand privacy," I said and she bowed.

Lately I've had little to no sleep. With every waking day to that carry Phillip's pup, my back cries for relief. My golden hair flowed down my back with large waves framing my face. My skin glowed under the sunlight, but my lips were swollen with frailty to match my delicate feet. I didn't care these days. I only craved Phillip. My wolf whimpered at the thought.

"Mother, will you pleases drop it!" I pleaded. "No! I begged the elders to honor your asylum. Don't you know how close the vote was? Do you have any idea?" she asked. "How could I not?
