Chapter 15 A Terrible Dinner

These days, I had been busy shuttling between school, the hospital, and Susan's house, and I almost forgot about Damien's existence. He seemed to be very busy recently, and I hadn't seen him for a while.

If it weren't for the flowers that appeared at the door of the house every day, I almost thought he had lost interest in me.

When Damien contacted me, I was at Susan's house playing a jigsaw puzzle game with Olivia and Daniel. "Damien?"

"How have you been, Allison?" Damien was in a good mood.

I placed the piece of the puzzle that Olivia had put in the wrong place back in the correct position, then left the room and walked to a corner where no one was. "Not bad."

Damien laughed. He was satisfied. "I'm starting to miss you, Allison. I think we can go to a dinner party together."

"Do I need to wear a gown?"

"If you want to. It's just a regular dinner. You don't have to dress up too much, so I won't worry about other people being charmed by you."
