She Felt The Pains

Brynlee's POV

I would have concluded that I was still in my sleep mode when he woke me up and spoke to me. But when he had closed the door behind him, and left me all alone in the room, my eyes had opened clearly to understand he was truly here and had asked me to prepare for a surprise.

A surprise with such a grim face? I honestly prayed it shouldn't be anything about a war. I wanted my child to come into a peaceful pack. Although I was eager to train, it wasn't because of a battle.

At least, not anymore.

I wanted to be with my child and our little family, ruling peacefully. Was that too much to ask of?

I was still pondering with trembling hands and shaky lips when the door was pushed opened again. This time, it was Ellen.

"What's wrong? Did my brother bully you just now? Tell me and…" she said, tightening her hands into a fist.

" No, Ellen. It's just-its just that- tell me, Ellen, is there going to be a war?" I asked, shakily.
