Emilia's Pov

Quietly, I navigate my way to the company, eager to discover what might be happening inside.

"There she is, the boss's daughter," a guard announces, bowing before me. I scoff at the unnecessary show of respect, accustomed to the privileges that come with being the CEO's daughter.

Although I am puzzled by the strange atmosphere, I hide my confusion, knowing it could harm my reputation.

"Where is my father?" I ask, met with silence from the surrounding crowd.

Determined, I quickly entered the building, heading straight for the elevator. With a sense of urgency, I ascend to the top floor, intent on reaching my father's office where I hope to find the answers I seek. He is the only one who can provide them.
