Isabella's Pov

It's been two days since my return from the hospital yet I haven't set my eyes on the alpha king. Not even a smell of his fragrance around the place. I had this feeling that there must be a reason behind this which is so unlikely of him.

Just while I had these thoughts running through, a maid came in offering a dish for breakfast.

“I am not hungry, you can leave now” I ordered . Trying to keep my composure, I placed my hand on my belly, hearing it make fuzzy sounds. It was about to disgrace me right before her.

“what’s it with the attitude? Are you sure you don't want to eat? “ I wondered, my eyes fixated on the dish she had brought.

“No no no, I'm not hungry” I concluded within, looking away from the dishes she brought.

“But ma'am, you will have to eat. This dish is specially made for you” she persisted.

I forced a smile through, “Really…? If that's the case, fine, you can leave it on the desk. I will have breakfast as soon as I shower”

I dismissed her immediately,
