A knock sounded on the door as I worked in my office. I asked whoever it was to come in, and the door opened. Mavis walked in.

"Any news?" I asked, without looking at him.

"Yeah, I'm not sure if it's good, though." I looked up this time as he settled on the chairs in front of me.

"The business deal we are trying to get from the Silver Pack, The Black Moon Pack, is also opting for it."

A frown appeared on my face as Mavis elaborated on his statement. We had been trying to make a deal with the Silver Pack. They have a lot of resources and so do we, but we needed to expand, and The Black Moon also opting for the deal means trouble.

"You know we can't let them get it, right? They would surpass us if they do." I spoke up when he was done talking.
