Chapter Twenty

AVERY

"Good morning." I greeted Garvey as I walked into Alpha Jared's suite. The sitting room was silent and he was not there, which was unusual, so I went to the bedroom to check, and there he was, sleeping. It surprised me though, he is always awake by this time, so it made me wonder if he was okay.

I slowly made my way in. I moved to the edge of the bed and bent with my eyes on his face. A small smile appeared on my face as I stared from his thick eyebrows to his eyes, which were closed, his lashes which were surprisingly long, hugged themselves. His sharp nose, his smooth skin, and then his lips.

I swallowed nothing as my eyes remained on his lips. They were so thin and smooth. It made me want to kiss the hell out of him, but I knew better than to lean in to my wish.
