Chapter Eleven

The next morning, I couldn't escape Lady Margaret's scolding. I can still recall her yells and Mabel's snickering as I headed to the Alpha Jared's suite with his breakfast.

"You can go in." The guard said after announcing my presence to the Alpha. I walked in but stopped in my tracks when I saw Princess Lisa there, sitting with her legs crossed.

"And why are you standing there without doing nothing?" Her irritated voice sounded, and I bowed slightly before going to the dining table. I arranged the meals on it and began tasting them, and all through, I could feel her cold eyes on me.

Just as I was done tasting the meal, the room door opened and Alpha Jared showed up.

"Good morning, Alpha." He ignored me, and turned to Princess Lisa who stood and kissed him right there.

I gulped nothing as I stared at them. Somehow, watching them kiss made me feel as if something heavy was placed in my chest. The worst part was that Princess Lisa was touching him all over.
