Chapter Fifteen

AVERY

Like Princess Lisa said, my life truly became miserable. It was already four days after my meeting with her, but my life was worse than it was ever. I was assigned unreasonable and unnecessary chores, and whenever I completed them, the other maids would complain and get angry at me. It felt like my works were being destroyed as I did them.

"Hey, go and change the tissue paper rolls in all the rooms." Just like the last few days, I was asked to do a job that was simply out of my supposed chores. I made my way to the supply room, picked four of the tissue paper packs which were stashed on the shelf.

I walked to the door and opened it with difficulty because of the stack of tissue paper packs. Walking was also difficult, I found it hard to see. I was grateful I didn't stumble or fall until I got to the first room.

I opened the door and walked in with the stack. I took one of the pack and peeled it open before taking one of the tissue rolls. I walked into the bathroom and changed i
