Chapter Ten

AVERY

I had just finished dropping the Alpha's used dishes in the kitchen when I heard my name being called. Turning around, I raised my brows a bit at the sight of Princess Lisa's maid.

"You called my name." I walked closer to her, and she nodded before speaking up. "Princess Lisa wants you in her room."

"Huh, why?" I immediately asked.

"I have no idea, so go on." She replied and walked out of the kitchen.

I didn't move, but kept standing in confusion. What did she want me for? Did I offend her... but I don't remember doing so? Biting my lower lip, my legs finally moved and I began walking to her suite. The walk lasted for about two minutes before I finally got to her suite.

"Come in." Her voice sounded after I knocked on the door. I took a deep breath before going in. My eyes landed on her figure beside the window, but she turned immediately and a smirk appeared on her lips when she saw me.

"You called for me." I muttered with my gaze on the floor.

"I did." She slowly walked to me.
